Garmin says Nuviphone should be ready soon
Jun 11th

With the Palm Pre new iPhone new T-Mobile Android phone, the summer is heating rapidly. Who knows, next to the Nuviphone could be just around the corner, which is definitely an interesting dilemma for new smartphone buyers.
On Friday, Garmin President and COO, Cliff Pemble announced some new details about the Nuviphone, especially on the availability in Asia and the United States. The Garmin Nuviphone was in 2008, and here we are a year later, still no Nuviphone to see. The price for a very delayed expects the phone goes to the best of Palm Garmin instead. Anyway, so Pemble at a general meeting on Friday that the Nuviphone is “very close” to the launching in the States with a particular carrier.
Originally they were going to launch an open Nuviphone the phone on the market, they are not restricted to one carrier. But because of the large quantities of air carriers want to Nuviphone, Garmin went back to the drawing board to work on the design of the smartphone. In the end, they, together with Asustek and two models of the phone, the Linux-based G60, and the Win-Mo 6,1 M20. In addition, they plan an Android based Nuviphone in 2010.
For those of us in the Asian countries, Pemble announced that the Nuviphone is an open phone either this month or July. Nevertheless, this makes an interesting case for all the new phones this summer, especially when it is released in the U.S.. Consumers need to be a difficult decision between all of these exciting new phones.
