Selecting Architecture Products for a Systems Development Program

The determination of what architecture products are needed to support Software Development within a larger system engineering process, is a challenge. Existing documents, such as the Department of Defense Architecture Framework offer some clues, but no defined product identification procedures. The method proposed in this article provides a repeatable process is required for the selection of architectural products to support a major systems engineering effort, the contents of individual products, and identifies each product’s customers.
