Palm launches Project Ares SDK public beta

Palm on Thursday released a public beta version of its Project Ares SDK utility. Unlike the company’s current Mojo SDK is the Ares now fully web-based.
The development environment provides a drag-and-drop Interface Builder, code editor, visual debugger, log viewer and more. Users can also take advantage of one-click previews and some introduction to the webOS emulator.
The Interface Builder is claimed to enable the creation of complex layouts that automatically switch orientation, and support various webOS devices. Drag-and-drop tools in theory allows the SDK from unknown people using traditional coding techniques are used.
Ares requires a free account, Palm developer community and can be downloaded directly from Palm.
