Nokia 7230 passes the FCC with US 3G

It was officially announced less than a month ago, the Nokia 7230 has just been by the FCC that the phone use on U.S. blessed 3G bands (850×1900 MHz) approved.

This (theoretically) means that AT & T, the phone in the U.S., can run, or can, if you withdraw in Canada, Rogers or Fido it.

The 7230 is a fancy-looking slider with decent features, including: 2.4 inch QVGA display, Bluetooth 2.1, 3.5-mm headphone jack, Nokia Maps, stereo FM radio, 3.2 megapixel camera and microSD support card. There’s no GPS and no Wi-Fi, if you ask yourself.

In Europe, the Nokia 7230 will retail for approximately $ 150, that is, when a North American airline decides to offer, it will likely do it for free on a contract basis.
