Verizon announces the HTC Touch Pro2, Nokia 7705 Twist

Verizon Wireless has just announced the imminent availability of two new QWERTY phones: HTC Touch, and PRO2 Nokia 7705 Twist.
Already available from Sprint and T-Mobile, HTC Touch Pro2 is a high-end Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone with a 3.6-inch WVGA touch screen display comes, TouchFLO 3D user interface, full QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, GPS , 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus, 512 MB ROM and 288 MB of RAM.

Verizon Touch Pro2 also has EV-DO and global connectivity (GSM GPRS EDGE 850 900 1800 1900 MHz and WCDMA HSPA 2100 MHz).
The Touch Pro2 available from Verizon as of 11 September.
Unlike HTC Touch Pro2, Nokia 7705 does not seem to twist into a smartphone – so it’s probably using Nokia S40 User Interface.
The 7705 Twist has a square-ish determine design, a QWERTY keyboard and a swivel Contact illuminated ring that “can be adjusted to have a message or call the contact listed in the directory.”

The other functions of the phone include EV-DO Rev. 0 connectivity, a 2.4 inch QVGA TFT screen, shortcut keys for quick access to messaging, integrated HTML browser, 3MP camera with autofocus, “in the mirror” and a 2.5 mm headset jack.
Nokia 7705 Twist will be available online from September 13, Verizon and retail on 21 September.
