Palm launches webOS 1.2
Two months after webOS 1.1, Palm has now released webOS 1.2, which comes with even more new features than the previous version.
For example, you can now buy app from the App Catalog by giving your credit card information on the attitudes and Accounts menu. Even after buying it, but deleted applications can be downloaded and installed free of charge.
1.2 webOS other offers: Amazon MP3 downloads, either through Wi-Fi or the phone network, e-mail filtering by keyword, LinkedIn Contacts synchronization to Palm Synergy included; files can be downloaded directly into the browser, you can cut x26-paste web pages and e-mails.
Palm says that webOS 1.2 should be available as an automatic update in the coming weeks. Of course webOS can currently be seen only 1.2 on the Palm-Pre, but it is available on the Palm Pixi – once it starts.
