Nokia 6760 Slide – Nokia Surge for Europe

The fraternal twin brother of the Nokia Surge, the film, has announced a European version. The 6760 Slide is a messaging phone with a full QWERTY keyboard, 2.4 “QVGA screen, 3.2 megapixel camera, aGPS, and up to 8 GB of memory with a SSD card (it comes with a 2 GB card). The battery gives you five hours talk time and 500 hours standby.
Nokia’s latest mobile phone is pretty much a pure social networking phone. He has Google Talk and Windows Live Messenger Plus quick access to Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. While the film is essentially a version of the Nokia phones Surge the two are not identical. The film has a better camera, and a slightly better battery.
While the film is definitely a better phone, the Europeans have to pay for that improved functionality. The 6760 goes on sale in the 3rd Quarter of 2009, and that is against all subsidies, rebates, taxes, or in it. You can choose between black, red and white.
