Sony Ericsson Idou officially launched as the Satio
That evening at an event in London, Sony Ericsson announced the official name for the marketing IDOU prototype smartphone that it shows at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Dubbed the Satio, the new card for GPRS will sport features like a 12.1 Megapixels camera with a readl Xenon flash, and a large 3.5-inch widescreen touch display.The Satio is the first Sony Ericsson smartphone to the new operating system Symbian Foundation, which is very much on Nokia S60 5th Edition platform. It has a unique home-screen interface and provides quick access to the users of the most popular media files, whether photos, videos or music. The Satio also the integration with social networking sites.
Sony Ericsson PlayNow enables the Satio owners to their phones with games, movies and music. The Satio is expected to be available in selected markets in the early 4th Quarter of 2009 and is available in three colors: black, silver and burgundy.
