Sony Ericsson introduces Yari slider phone for gamers

At an event in London, Sony Ericsson presents its latest mobile games, the Yari. This controller has a built in accelerometer for motion-control gaming, allowing you to view the actual phone around to interact with games. The Yari also sports a 5-megapixel autofocus camera, to ensure that you still know how to stand still and smile from time to time.The Sony Ericsson Yari weighs only 115g (4.1oz) and measures at 100mm x 48mm x 15.7mm (3.9in x 1.9in x 6 in), it should be easy to carry around in your pocket. This phone is also connected, with quad-band GSM (850/900/180/1900MHz) and either tri-band UMTS (850/1900/2100MHz) and dual-band UMTS (900/2100MHz) with the HSPA for high — speed data connections. The phone is also equipped with A-GPS for location based services and the ability to automatically geo-tag your photos with location information.
The Sony Ericsson Yari is expected in the 4th Quarter of 2009, when prices were not given. Expect to see the Yari in your choice of black or white Achromatic Cranberry.
