Samsung Preston and Samsung Star – new names for the S5600 and S5230

Do you know S5600 and S5230 Samsung touch screen phones?Well, Samsung has decided to give them new “brand name” as follows: The Samsung S5600 is now Preston, while the Samsung S5230 is a star.

These names are used in many countries, but the two phones are not as a celebrity and Preston in all markets.

For example, in the United Kingdom, the S5230 is known as Samsung Toco Lite, while the Polish customers will be able to buy it because Samsung Avila. The Samsung S5600 is Halley in Italy and we hear them in the market, including Samsung player in France. A bit confusing, is not it?

Samsung S5230 Star is now available in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America. Samsung S5600 Preston later this month, but only in Europe and Asia.
